A supernova is a very special kind of object.
A supernovae is the explosion of a star that is about twice as massive as our Sun.
In a supernovus, it is a tiny ball of gas that has grown in size and is now spinning and expanding.
This object, called a supergiant star, can reach a distance of a million light years or more from Earth.
The energy of this explosion is enough to make a supercooled gas like water.
The pressure inside the star will cause it to explode.
If the star was not so massive, the pressure would be so high that it would cause the surrounding matter to explode too.
Supernova can also occur in a supermassive black hole, a star so massive that it is almost impossible to see with the naked eye.
The light from a superluminal supernova will be seen with the full spectrum of visible light, making it easier to spot than a normal supernova.
